Join Yoga Instructor and Mindfulness Coach, Kate Reed in the eight-week course "Healthy, Happy, Whole - Yoga Science to Build Healthy Habits." Kate is a Kundalini Awakening yoga instructor and is bringing her training in Superhealth yoga science for addictive behaviors to our community. This course will teach you how to use the principles and practices of Kundalini yoga and meditation to overcome various forms of addiction and habituation. The training covers the following topics: The physiology and psychology of addiction and how it affects the body, mind, and spirit. Specific yoga techniques and protocols for breaking habits and addictive behaviors related to alcohol, drugs, nicotine, food, gambling, sex, technology, and more. The role of nutrition, diet, and lifestyle in supporting recovery and wellness. The training is open to anyone who wants to learn more about yogic science for addictive behavior and anyone in recovery or making serious lifestyle changes. It is not suitable for individuals who are currently actively using drugs and alcohol and all participants should plan to refrain from the use of any alcohol or drugs for the duration of the course.
